Summer Activities

Rising Third Grade Summer Resources

Incoming 4th grade Summer Work 

English Language Arts

• Daily reading (at least 30 mins)

• Read CommonLit assigned articles (posted on Google Classroom)

• BONUS: IXL Summer Boost skill plan - Language arts 5th grade

Math

• Memorize multiplication & division Facts 1-12 - Use flash triangles and/or own method

• Play at least 4 rounds of EACH multiplication squares game (8 games total)

• Summer Math Packet

• BONUS: IXL Summer Boost skill plan - Math 5th grade & Summer Adventures skill plan

Each student should have joined our Rising 5th Grade Summer Work Google Classroom. If you haven’t yet, please follow these steps:

• Go to Google Classroom

• Click on the + symbol in the top right corner

• Enter the classroom code: cgg34knw

For returning students please connect to our Google Classroom Page for Rising Sixth Graders. If you and your family are new to the Kilmer summer assignments will be optional.

1. Go to Google Classroom

1. Please read at least two books of your choice. You can use https://www.bpl.org/youth-summer-reading/#booklists for ideas. Also, check out your local library!

2. Then complete the Summer Reading Book Report  based on ONE of the books.
